yes, it is a bit hard to pronounce: sahas-raara. sanskrit for 1000 petals lotus.
this is a very ancient geometric design consisting of eliptic circles forming triangles.
look a the coin and you think it is moving. very intriguing ...
there is a total of 1116 triangles on the first side. the dot in the center is a fake gem stone.
the re version is night-glowing.
the xxle edition has 16 colors (there was probably never another coin with more colors). it was released only in spring 2009. only 30pc were mindted of that version: 10 went to the most regular customers, 10’s purchase rights were raffled, and another 10 were sold on ebay.
