about the geocointhis is the geocoin of finding treasure, a swiss geocacher dedicating this coin to his hometown of biel (or bienne in french), a bilingual town (german and french speaking) in north-western switzerland. 

the city crest shows two white axes on a red background. the city name biel is related to the german word for ax: beil.

the back of the coin features a compass. or two: a modern rendering and a traditional one. the needle is movable, it is attached to the coin with a magnet that sits in the center of the coin.

this geocoin is a coproduction of finding treasure and ernies. the total run ist 250 pieces and comes in three editions. the original price was 50 swiss francs for the complete set of three.
